A Little of This & That

Last Saturday my baby turned ELEVEN! I still can't quite wrap my mind around that. I know people say it all the time, but where did the time go???

Some of her gifts included Real Ugg boots which I never would've bought if I hadn't gotten the deal of the century on them and got them for less than $50! She also got a microscope, I told her it's so she can start practicing for CSI, she likes shows like that a lot. She also got some clothes, and gift cards. For her birthday we had some friends and family over to celebrate, then on her actual birthday she had a basketball game, then got to spend the day with one of her closest friends and I took them to Jump Street. I think it was a successful birthday for her.

Last night I dreamt that she was a baby again and I was carrying her around. Wonder what the math on that is? Am I mourning the loss of my baby?? She'll always be my BABY. :)

I am so over the snow & cold weather already because:

• the heat is broken in my classroom
• people lose their minds & can't drive when it snows
• my car is so filthy I don't even want to touch it

On the other hand I like the cold weather because:

• we had 2 snow days last week! 2 free paid days off to do nothing! :)

I'm ready for Spring because I'm very excited about these new sandals I got yesterday! And I'm excited to go to Cozumel, Mexico for spring break! :)
