Random Wednesday

Mmmmmm........
  • Lindt Dark Chocolate with a touch of sea salt
  • Starbucks Passion Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade
  • Pho

I started liking dark chocolate because of this diet and apparently there are a lot of health benefits to it, antioxidants & what not. This is the BEST one I've tried.
The SB iced tea lemonade has been a favorite of mine, but I started making it at home/work. I bought the Tazo Passion tea and I use the mix of sugar free lemonade. Good! & of course much cheaper!
Pho- I know I'm late, but I finally tried it today. I was a little leery, but since I work in the area where there is practically one of those places on every corner, I decided I needed to try it. It's good, now I see what people were talking about. I found this website too & it tells all about it & where you can find it in your area and places are rated/reviewed. http://www.phofever.com/

Bravo!!
I have been reading a ton lately and have to recommend some books. I read The Help which was excellent. And I also found a new author that I love now, that is also local to Denver. Carleen Brice! I read her 2 books Orange Mint And Honey & Children of the Waters and they are both EXCELLENT! They were those books that you can't put down & your sad when they're over. Also I found out that Orange Mint & Honey was made into a Lifetime movie starring Jill Scott called Sins of the Mother. I'm excited to check it out this Saturday night.

Grrrrrrr.........
  • So my daughter has been having some troubles with "mean girls" lately. She is only in 5th grade & wow....girls are vicious! What was going on has now passed, but it broke my heart. And don't get me started on oblivious, idiotic parents of some of these kids too.
  • My daughter is also having a bad case of the "but mom, everyone has________!" (a cellphone, an ipod touch, etc.) I know we all go through it, but it's not so fun as a parent.
  • I am having trouble being patient right now, not in general, but in regards to the future. I know I can't rush God's timeline, but sometimes it's not in line with mine. :(
Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.

I have to start from the bottom and go up...

That quote spoke to my spirit Thank you! I have to be reminded all the time that God is UP even when I'm down, sleep, low... *smile*
