I bumped into this blog and they happened to be doing a cool thing and thought I would participate. So here are my 10 random things for Tuesday......
1. I was already having a little bit of a hard time coping with my daughter turning 11. Then yesterday we went to CPK and found out she is too old to order off the kids menu. :( This makes me sad for more than one reason, including the fact that she is twice as expensive to take out to eat now.
2. Why did I hear an Aaron Neville Folgers commercial on the radio this morning??
3. I am mad at myself for some of the sugary things I ate at work today. :( I don't know why I do it to myself, I always feel bad, mentally & physically afterwards.
4. I am excited to go to Mexico for Spring Break. It is exactly 1 month from Sunday. I can not wait to be baking in the sun with a frozen drink on a lounge chair!

7. I need to find another really good book to read. I read 2 or 3 in a row that I LOVED that really grabbed me and ever since, I've started a few, but can't seem to get into them. Any recommendations??
8. One of my favorite shows is on tonight. Parenthood. It's one of those shows that makes me LOL and occasionally tear up as well.
9. 5280 restaurant week is starting this weekend. I really would love for fiance & I to go test out one of the restaurants, we don't get out alone enough. :( In case you're not from here 5280 is a Denver based magazine & once a year they have a week where certain restaurants offer a 3-4 course meal for two people for $52.80.
10. I just got this in the mail yesterday, as a freebie from Sephora since I'm a VIB. (in other words I spend too much there) I'm not decided if I like it yet. It smells pretty good, but I'm not in love. It got 4 out of 5 stars on the site by reviewers. This is the description:

What kinds of books do you like to read? I haven't read a good one in a while, but I am wanting to read The Help and Swamplandia next. I love Parenthood too! Can't wait to see what's going to happen with Crosby and his fiance. ;-) Thanks for linking up this week!

The Help is one of the ones I read recently that I absolutely Loved! I mostly read fiction and tend to lean towards ones about women or relatable things I guess.
@ GP- So glad you could finally get on my site! I took a background/layout off I think that was it. I think I have heard of Kindred, I will check it out. I will def let you know if I go to any of the restaurants. I read your review, great! Except for the twenty dollar burrito! Yes, it is called Lady Million. LOL
