So a while back ago I joined a website called gofobo.com where you get invites to free advanced screenings to movies. I LOVE going to the movies so this is WAY cool to me. Honey & I got to see Friends with Benefits before it came out and it was really good. Tonight I had free tickets to preview this:
So I took Imani on a mother/daughter date. It was really good. Keke Palmer and Queen Latifah both can Sang! :) It was a cute, lighthearted movie,with some good singing and some pretty funny parts.
To top off our nice night out, as we were walking back to the car through the Promenade we see a big sign at this ice cream shop for FREE ice cream. :) It was a really nice night and Imani thanked me a bunch before bed.
I won't go into much detail about the not so great parts of the night, like our nasty dinner beforehand or people at the movies that have no sense. But the good of the night definitely outweighed the bad.
I am all about coupons and freebies. Last night I read Babs' post about her Voxbox and I just had to go see what that was all about. I also belong to something called BzzAgent which is similar I think. They send me free things to try along with coupons to give people to spread the word about their product.
I hope Santa brings me some patience.
I'm REALLY excited for my Secret Santa recipient to receive their package, it should be arriving SOON. I really hope they like it. I'm curious to see what I will get as well. I don't think I gave that great of hints about what I would like, but I am greatful for whatever I receive. I can't promise that I won't regift though. JUST KIDDING!
Speaking of Secret Santa, we are currently in the midst of it at work also and well.......how do I say this nicely.......(I DONT) Uuugh.. what exactly is the point of filling out one of those little cutesy survey things about what you like, favorite snacks, what you collect, yada yada yada, IF your secret santa is going to ignore it and get you whatever the hell they want to anyways?? Ok, I'm done bein' mean. For now.

I recently joined Bzzagent and I will look and see what Voxbox is about! I LOVE free!!
I finally got my Secret Santa gift mailed out. The person will like it because it was right off their list.
I mentioned on my blog about people/fam just giving you what they want and yeah...two thumbs down on that...especially if its a whack gift that they didn't like either.

I'm telling you she was good in the movie! She did good with some of the gospel songs. I'm not saying I'm running out to buy her one cd with her singing on it, but she was good. Trust me. :)
