Random Tuesday

Current frustrations:

-used car shopping
Someone please explain to me how you are going to list a car & not bother to mention things like the back window is stuck down, there are huge stains on the seats, the door handle is missing & you have to manually role the window down to get out of the car!!

-job searching
I apparently picked the wrong field to go into. Getting my Bachelors Degree as a single mom & the first in my family was a huge accomplishment for me, but now not being able to get a job in the field is beyond frustrating.

-slight insomnia
Between a summer cold & the stress of all of the above.......I can't sleep!!!

Totally Random:

- I am in the middle of reading about 4-5 books currently
-I may need a shopping intervention soon & a separate one for all of my "reusable" bags that I use for shopping
-I find the darnedest shows to watch late at night such as I'm Pregnant & I have an Eating Disorder, Prison Wives & The Devil Wears Nada
-I just joined a group with my daughter of moms & "tween" daughters; we are reading Secret Keeper Girl:The Power of True Beauty & Modesty.
-I ♥ Dollar Tree
-Today I volunteered at an organization called Crayons to Calculators for 2 hours in a hot warehouse sorting school supplies & getting backpacks ready. I'm really happy to see how much people donated, but what's really sad is how many kids rely on these donations. The woman who runs it said the schools requested 7,000 filled backpacks this year which was over a 15% increase from last year!!
