Summer Days

What a slacker! I haven't posted in WAY too long. But hey, I'm on summer vacation. Here are some pics of what we've been up to. Starting with a picture of my stylish girl outside Pappadeaux on Mother's Day.

A few weekends ago we went to a Chalk Art Festival in downtown Denver. The art was amazing! And Imani got to make her own masterpiece too!

We went to a BBQ at a friend's house with some of my old coworkers. Imani got to hold my friend's new baby boy Isaiah. He is TOO cute! She loved holding him. I think someone wants a sibling real bad!

And last weekend we went to a friend's wedding. And guess who caught the bouquet?? :)

He looks a little nervous doesn't he?? LOL He should be! I'm in wedding planning mode now!

Enjoy the pics. And Happy Father's Day to all the Real Dads out there!

Thanks for the Fathers Day wishes. I have never heard so many 'real dads' statements than I heard this Fathers Day. It is in the best interest of all men to try and become involved in their children's life in the most profound and positive of ways. Without that father figure, it's really a difficult mission, emotionally, for many children.

I see that you and your daughter are ballin' on Moms Day. I LOVE Pappadeux. The Chalk Art looks nice as well.

I see that you caught the bouquet! That has to mean something and buddy knows it!

@ Tecia- thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment. Long time no talk. Hope you & your family are doing well & having a good summer so far!

@ Des- Yes, the bouquet was gorgeous too. I didn't actually catch it, she threw it up and it hit something on the ceiling and fell & I ran out @ swiped it! LOL

@ GorgeousPuddin- Job search is not going so well, but I'm not giving up....yet. :) Thanks for coming by & commenting!

@ Don- Amen on fathers & how crucial it is for their involvement. Yes, Pappadeaux is GOOD! ;) About the bouquet, yes, he knows what's up! 12 years later, it's about time!
